Over 50’s Club

This is one of our latest community projects designed to bringing together people aged 50+ who may have had a passion for music, always dreamt of learning an instrument, singing in a group or simply want the opportunity to play alongside other musicians.

Our monthly Cabin Jam sessions are completely free and led by professional musician mentors creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone regardless of experience. The project has been a huge success with many participants attending who enjoy making music, building new friendships and enjoying the many well-being benefits that music brings.

Our meeting helps to reduce loneliness and social isolation, the workshops are making a positive impact on participants mental health while strengthening community connections.

Thanks to the generous support of the Clothworkers Foundation, we also plan to professionally film and record these sessions, allowing us to share performances and stories across our social media channels, celebrating the incredible talent and community spirit that continues to grow through the Cabin Jam sessions.
